  3. Keep on the boil until reduce by half. It should be a reasonably thick consistency (jam like). Once at the desired consistency take off the heat and allow to cool for 10-15 mins.
  4. There is lots of information about sterilising and sealing Jam jars on the web. Without sterilisation and sealing I find the jam will last in the fridge for about 3 weeks. Add the Jam from the pan to the jam jars. Leave to cool. Once cool keep in the fridge.

It's easy to make with just two ingredients. If you have more plums than you can eat or give away, consider turning the extra plums into jam.
